Hello my name is Brian
I've tried to do a lot of research on my side, but I at a bit of a loss on cameras. So the short story I was robbed. I'm looking for some info and help, I've built computers in the pass so im not completely dumb (or hope not) lol. So can anyone give me a breakdown on ip cameras? From top of the line to bottom junk, there must be at least 140 different company's making ip cameras. At the end of the day I don't want to end up with junk. This will be a complete system, outdoor and indoor cameras, plus nvr. Any help or ideals would greatly appreciated
Thank you Brian

If it's your first full system (by full I mean NVR included) then stick to Dahua (my new preference) or Hikvision.

Something like Dahua 4421 / 4300C plus NVR 4208 is a great place to start.

I've been running Hikvision cameras for over a year with no issues.
