can't change settings via browser

i have 2 DS-2CD3135F-IS where I make a change like day to night scheduled switch.. is it a java thing? ever since I cant see the live view (thanks firefox.google).. the setting aren't sticking.. any one else. my other cameras i made changes no problem

Switch to Internet Explorer or Pale Moon other browsers have dropped support for plugins.

^ Yes - Internet Explorer certainly works for me.

If you are on Windows 10 and don't know where the browser is, just click on the Start Menu and type in IE

almost forgot, you can also use the software that comes with the camera... open the small disc that Hikvision sent with the camera and look for the iVMS4200 software. Install it so you can use it as a configuration tool.

Here is a quick screenshot of how it works: Available Cams will show up in the bottom of the Device Management window.
You can add the cameras and they will show up in the window above. From there you simply click Remote Configuration and a window to your camera settings will open up.
