Ciao to everybody.
After many, many, many….email exchange with the partient Mr. Leo of CANTONK company (Leo@cantonk.com), finally ...... Tuesday, March 14th I received my CANTONK.com surveillance kit.

On 09 March shipped by FedEx with tracking number from Guangzhou, China;
received on 14 march in Tuscany, Italy!!!!

The packaging was in perfect condition inside and outside.

Mr. Leo was a very patience and nice person because I had no experience about IP Camera, Switch POE, NVR and I learned everything thanks his many polite answers.

I bought two kits:

1) For me nr. 4 IP CAMERA 16:9 2304 x 1296 (3 MP) Compression H.265/H.264

- AHD KBNK90HTC2004XESL

I decided to publish that my positive feedback for 3 reasons:

- Very polite seller (Mr. Leo)
- Very good products
- Excellent relation between quality and price

How you can see, the package sent is in excellent condition outside as it was packed before shipment.
Each product has its own carton box coated with an accurate soft plastic layer.

Instead, the two VCRs were packed inside an "airbag" (such as Samsung does for printer toners).

Even the way the products were packed you can get an idea about their quality.

Each Camera has its drill template, mini-CD with inside softwares, screws and dowels.

The software for PC (HeroSpeed CMS) is very easy to use.

I bought IP CAMERA without "internal POE" (possible have "Internal POE" paying extra $4,00 for it): I bought my nr. 4 active splitter POE in my town. Someone on that forum suggested to do it as a kind of double security in case the switch POE placed on my home does not work well.

The software for PC (HeroSpeed CMS) into the mini CD of each IP CAMERA is very easy to use.

Very easy and fast is the "P2P" using the Android APP FREEIP PRO. As soon as registered as customer on
the web www.freeip.com (remember to use same email address used during the first installation of NVR) and a.s.a your NVR is on-line, is necessary to upload your "devices" (all your IP CAMERAS) and after few seconds the APP will appload the image of each camera.
Screenshot_SmartSelect_2017-03-19-15-33-59.png
Is possible to watch your camera from other PC, too. Will be enough digit www.freeip.com (remember it works with EXPLORER browser only!) to watch what's going on at your home.
FreeIP(dot)COM.JPG
For today it is all.

On next days I will upload other screenshots of IP Camera, NVR and how use GMAIL as email ALERT sender.

Ciao.

Ciao.

I’m back.

I am very happy of the cameras bought because, for me, despite a fairly cheap price work very good.

The average price for 4 cameras 1/3” OV High-resolution CMOS Sensor, IR-Cut, WDR, 3MP@30fps, 4MP@20fps, Waterproof IP66, H265/H264, 2.8-12mm Manual Zoom Lens was $53.60 each.

Instead with $ 29.80 I bought the NVR 8ch HD H265/H264 and with $46.00 the Switch with 8-port POE.

Installation and setup

The default IP is 192.168.1.168. Obviously I need to change this.

To do it I connected all 4 Cameras to the switch with 8-port POE and the switch to my router modem.

Using the software IPCSearcher.exe (located into the mini DC kit of every camera) is possible to see each ONVIF Camera connected.
To select and change the ip of each camera is enough a click; with double click is possible enter into the setup of each camera.

SMTP Setup

For that point I must spend some words because I become mad before be able to send emails.
I decided to use Gmail to send and receive emails with motion detection alarm.
I thought that the address to write was SMTP.GMAIL.COM instead I discovered to get the SMTP Server, is necessary use the command prompt by typing cmd on the windows search bar and
type “ping smtp.gmail.com” to get the IP address. Then enter the IP address into the SMTP server.

Cantonk is the same garbage as Longse...stay away. Also dont you ANY p2p service. Its a huge security risk.
Furthermore its important to note that longse/cantonk stole hikvision firmware as well as milestone vms code..that's right, outright stole it. So, given the security risks that come even from well known manufactures are you going to risk dealing with a company that has the balls to steal intellectual property? How safe do you think your data is?

:puke::facepalm::slap:

You can get far better cameras for a similar amount of money (when you aren't being given free/massively discounted :poop: in exchange for a "review"). Just say no to can'tONK cameras.

:smash:

Also, don't post screenshots with all the information someone would need to hack your cameras / home network (freeip p2p).:banghead:

Ciao. No, Cantonk seller asked me no review in exchange of massively discount.
If someone like, I can send or publish the official price list in pdf. that Mr Leo sent me the first day: the prices are the ones that will be applied to anyone (even without feedback).

Can't Believe the shit heads that come here to sell shit...
Ciao. I'm sorry to have made someone angry. No one has asked me to post this review. I thought maybe it was useful for the forum to inform that in addition to the marks Axis-Huisun-Dahua-LPR-Foscam-Hikvision also exists Contonk, too. I can only speak well: for now their products work well. It 's true, I have not enough experience in the IPCamera world but are functional and economic.
I do not doubt that, like all things, there is something better. They are merely personal considerations.

Thanks for the typical night shot with no moving objects. I'll assume that the cameras can't give a good picture of moving objects at night.

Ciao.
I undestand it is important but unfortunately the only way to have moving objects is "I go to walk on my terrace" but if I do it....goodbye privacy. I haven't a dog, so it can't do it for me....
