Hi all. I have an issue when using rtsp to capture a stream direct from camera @60fps which is the native speed from the camera. Actually I am capturing 8 individual cameras at the same time for just a few seconds every so often as an object speeds past the detection zone. Since I want the NVR to hold the data at 60fps I need the cameras to natively be set to that. Even watching 1 single camera in VLC live induces dropped frames and the occasional freeze up. At 30fps this doesnt happen.
So I am thinking of setting substream in the NVR to hires but 30fps, and then using my application to capture multiple channels on the substream at the same time.
Has anyone done something like this and have you any ideas? Below is an example of the command I am using. Password blacked out for expected reasons. Currently, IP address at the end of each line changes for the relevant cameras for direct feeds - I will change that to the IP of the NVR with the channel numbers being unique per line.
