I have a client that can’t access his dahua NVR Through gdmss unless he is connected to WiFi. He has data on his phone....

I cannot figure it out for the life of me. He has an android device and I’m not super familiar with them.

He’s confirmed they’re live at home. I’ve access on my cell and computer.

Anybody have any ideas?

So you have port forwarded the NVR since you can connect with your phone on cell data?

Does he have the right IP address and port for the NVR?

So can he ping his router (or any other machine on the LAN) when connected to the VPN?

There is a setting in the app somewhere to check box. To use cellular automatically when wifi is not present.

I don’t use p2p, I have a good Asus router with built in openVPN and the openVPN app on my phone.

Well if his system works on your phone, then it’s gotta be his phone.
