Connection Failed for "Alarm Messages" inside iVMS4500 mobile App

Hello,

my last 3 installations of NVRs (DS7604) doesn´t support not any longer the option to enable the "Alarm Messages" inside the iVMS 4500 mobile APP. And it´s also not possible to do the "Remote configuration" with the mobile App.

I only receive the information "Connection failed". But i can use the LiveView also the RemotePlayback without any problems. I installed the newest firmware. Connect the new devices also to hik-connect.

All my older NVR installations have no issues.

Could you help me please?

After searching the web and reading some documents I can answer to my own question.

The communication to enable the Alarm messages and the remote control will use the http-Port (normally Port 80)

Each time i didn't change the Ports on the NVR and use the standard port forwarding on the router (Server 8000, http 80, RTSP 554 and https 443) everything works fine.

But in my last 3 installations i used a different extern http Port (eg 8888) and recurve it to intern http Port (eg 80). But in this case i can't enable the Alarm messages and remote configuration.

To solve my Problem i only have to change the http Port of the NVR. In this case also to Port 8888. And the port forwarding from extern 8888 to intern 8888.

That's it. Now I can enable and use the remote configuration also on WAN.
