Forgive me if this is a repeat post.

In BI under the "other" tab from Blue Iris Options, there is a number field for CPU Usage factor. What is the function of this setting? Right now it is at the default setting of 1.000 but I am curious if this would have any impact on CPU usage and performance. I have done all the other tweaks as mentioned in other threads regarding CPU usage, but I am curious what this particular item actually does.
Thanks,

The BI Help file calls this the "CPU usage divisor". Per the Help File:

The CPU usage divisor setting exists in order to compensate for the CPU usage (as displayed at the bottom of the window and in the client apps) being overstated by Blue Iris. Within certain multiprocessor situations, you may need to divide this number by 2, 3 or even 4 in order to get an accurate display when compared to the Task Manager.

Oh ok, so it is not related to performance enhancement, just a modifier to get correct performance reporting.
Thanks so much!
