Customer request - any suggestions?

I recently installed some cameras and a NVR for a customer at his house.. he has contacted me and explained that he coaches little league football and wants to be able to record the practices with a fixed camera mounted about midfield and elevated. He wants to be able to take the video file and save to an external hard drive or USB drive and watch it back later. any simple suggestions without getting overly complicated?

gopro or possibly dslr/camcorder. Only reason I suggest gopro is you can easily power it from external battery pack via usb and store 4hrs on 128GB sd @4k30

I thought of the GoPro option but wasn't sure how much it would help with the fisheye lens.

Build your self an ammocam box. mount a camera to the front heaps of room inside for a sla battery and a handle to carry it
