Hi

We are looking for a 180 degree cam to observe our backyard.
I found these two cam:
IPC-PDBW8800-A180
IPC-PDBW8802-A180

Unfortunately I can not imagine the differences between the sensors and focal lengt. Does someone have pictures to compare?

And one additional question, does the cam work with the NVR4208-4KS2?

Thanks
Regards
Martin

Those are $700+ cameras. I think you would be better served with (2) turret cameras with 2.8/3.6mm lenses that would cost about 1/3 what these do. Also, alot of info on coverage will be covered in the Wiki and notes sections. If you haven't already, these are must reads for general info.

Well, I have to cover our backyard with about 600qm and a max distance of 35m. The Cam will be place at the roof of our house.
I am completely unsure what is the best solution for our yard.

I would seriously consider this cam: Review-Dahua IPC-HDBW4231F-E2-M Dual Starlight Cam

With the 2.8mm lenses, each cam can cover about 110 degrees. That would give some overlap. And the cost is less than a 1/3 of the cam above. This cam will definitely work with your NVR. Read through the thread, there is a ton of info.

On the roof you do won’t be getting clean facial ID, only the tops of heads.

Also, the 3.6mm lenses provide a combined 172 degree angle of view which is pretty close to 180. If some small gap can be tolerated, probably at the far edges, they'll provide better DORI distances.

As posted here I'll use the mentioned Dual Starligt Cam in combination with a HDBW5231E-ZE. Because of @ThomasPI comment I changed the mounting point to a corner at our house where I have to cover 270° now.
