Is it possible to set a recording rule where if it sees my face, then don't record?

What about if it sees my face and it's between a certain time range, then don't record?

no. The camera cannot recognize your face.

Ok. I remember one of the installers from last year, who did an onsite visit, telling me that it could recognize faces. He gave the example of say a package delivery carrier had come by a few times and dropped packages off at the door. If, at a later date, it saw that face was now in the backyard, I could get an alert.

That was the example he gave, so I'd been wondering about it.

I guess the camera can't do that.

nothing...its face DETECTION (as opposed to recognition) that in theory, even if working 100 percent properly (which it does not) only detects the presence of a face, it cannot distinguish between individuals...
