Dahua bound account

So, I have this new Dahua CCTV I just installed it in our office but whenever I tried to scan the QR code for mobile viewing it says is bound to the account L*****@email.com. How can I resolve this issue?

Maybe it's actually used. I've never heard of a truly new device that was already bound / associated with someone else's email. I don't know how to resolve the issue but the issue itself should not happen with a new device.

Sounds like a return to me.

I would try a hard reset. If that does not work, then either return it or contact where you purchased and see if they can reset the camera...but I would lean towards returning at this point...

Oh yea, and get it off the network and follow the wiki's here so that the cam doesn't have access to the internet! Because whoever has that email is now seeing your feed.
