Hi all, very new here and just starting to setup a 5442 type 8-32 Varifocus as a gate camera.
I have Home Assistant and the Dahua integration worked out of the box to get event notifications.
The Smart Motion Detection (SMD) seems to have very few false positives in my setup so my ideal would be a simple way of saving video from any SMD event.
I can see there is a Record function to FTP which works well, but triggers on any movement, and a Auto Upload (also called Push Notification?) which seems designed to alert a mobile app.
An NVR seems overkill in my setup but I cannot find any way of either just recording on SMD or using push notifications to FTP or similar - basically just to store that video for future reference.
Has anyone got any suggestions please.
