Hello Everyone,
I am looking at installing to replace some of my cameras at a storage unit I help manage. The old system had a few cameras that died, and today a large truck pulled in and ripped down the Aerial Cat 5
So Basically, I have a storage unit complex with 6 "bays" of units, each bay has a telephone pole at the end that I would like to hook a camera up too, Each one is about 60 feet from one another, so the first 3 or 4 rows should be fine distance wise, but after that I think I am pushing it. I see the Dahua has EPOE, that looks like it could do up to around 800 feet? Has anyone got that kind of distance out of them?
The setup would be: Dahua NVR --> EPOE switch --> and then a separate run for each camera. Do you guys think the distance would be an issue? and if not what cameras would you recommend for being up in the air around 20 feet looking down a 150 foot isle.
