Hi,

I've got a few dahua cams a-35 and DH-SD1A203T-GN.
I'm trying to do a picture flip on my DH-SD1A203T-GN with the Dahua http api, but for some odd reason everyting in the VideoInOptions section gets completely ignored.
for example:

/cgi-bin/configManager.cgi?action=setConfig&VideoInOptions[0].Flip=false
/cgi-bin/configManager.cgi?action=setConfig&VideoInOptions[0].DayNightColor=2

doesnt't work

I Can flip the picture though with VideoInRotate but that's not saved and is reverted after a reboot.

THe strange thing is, my ipc-A35s can do it right, but they got a quite old firmware. 2.4

Does anyone got any clue on how to flip the picture permanently and also change the color mode without the webinterface remotely. on the newer signed firmwares?

Thx in advance,

Bram

edit: I've contacted Dahua support, but the CGI interface is a corporate secret and there's no support for it at all.
edit2: Does anyone know of any software implementation that makes use of the http api?

Try using the Web UI remotely in your phone browser. You will need Wan IP address and port forwarded HTTP port. Ignore any install plugin message. Live view will not be there but you can access the settings you want to set.

UPDATE: After rereading your post, perhaps you have already done this.

Hi @jack7, can you please adapt your post and remove the suggestion to enable port forwarding on the WAN IP address. That is, since 2016, a very dangerous advice!!! Please use a VPN connection to connect from the outer world to your intranet, and thén launch camera setup commands/API requests/view footage.

@Brammm98: yes, you can run them through curl/wget... I don't have your mentionned cams, but my "http api guide" provided me successful requests for my HFW/HDW cameras.

You seem quite unhappy with my post. Please ask the administrator to remove my posts and your post from this thread. Then everyone should be happy.
