Dahua NVR questions

Two things I can't figure out from the manual (for a 52164KS2):

1. What is "Easy space" on the Alarm tabs?

2. If you're running headless, how can you initiate an NVR shutdown?

1. Cloud Storage Service
2. Reboot then flip the switch once it drops off the network.
