In the specs, I see for resolution:

1080P(1920x1080)/1.3M(1280x960)/
720P(1280×720)/D1(704×576/704×480)/
VGA(640×480)/CIF(352×288/352×240)

I also see:
Main Stream: 1080P(1~50/60fps)
Sub Stream: D1(1~50/60fps)
Third Stream: 1080P(1~25/30fps)

So Main,Sub1, and Sub2. In camera browser config setup, for Sub1, I can only choose D1 (704x576) or CIF. For Sub2, I can choose 720P,D1,and CIF.

Nowhere can I choose D1 704x480, VGA, or CIF (352x240). Why don't all substreams offer the same resolution options?

I've experimented with Sub1 (D1 704x576) and Sub2 (720p) on and also Sub1 off and Sub2 on.

I cannot get SmartPSS or iDMSS to ever display Sub2 720p. All I can get is Main and Sub1 D1. D1 is not 16:9 ratio and the resultant views are skewed. The apps don't refer to the substream via sub1 or sub2. The apps just say "substream".

I want the main to be the full resolution and I'd like a single sub to display a smaller 16:9 resolution for the smaller windows in SmartPss, etc. What am I doing wrong?

I am the same question here that I cannot get gDMSS to ever display Sub2 720p. It seems gDMSS only support Sub1. may I have some comments from the experts from this forum?

You do realize that this is a three plus year stale thread that no one ever answered, right?

Maybe post a new thread to get an answer to your issue. I have no experience in this.
