Hi,

I have been looking for a WI-Fi Dahua cam. I have seen in Dahua brand two lines:
-'Normal' cameras, such as IPC-HDBW1320E-W
-'Consumer' cams, such as IPC-HDBW1435E-W

Trying to find the differences, I have some doubts....
A 'Consumer' cam works without NVR and using the cloud service?
A 'Normal' cam needs a NVR to be able to detect motion and create alerts?

Can anyone help me find the differences?

Yes, that's the Dahua site. I was aware of its existence. I had (and still have) some doubts and cannot find a definitive answer there.
But thanks anyway.

The two cams you listed are both in the "Consumer" lineup. They both have poor low light ability.

The differences are all available in the spec sheets.
Look to at least the Eco-savvey line, if you care about night vision outdoors.

Two heads up, WiFi sucks for security cams. Domes suck outdoors for a variety of reasons related to reflection and water spots.
