Any changes made to the camera directly are the only changes that matter. Blue Iris is a receiver of video data and has no control over what the camera sends to it, like frame, bit and iframe rates for example. The same is true of resolution, brightness, contrast and on and on.

It is kind of an odd question. Blue Iris does know how to change a few things on some cameras (brightness, IR control, etc) but for the most part you never use those because they are buried in context menus within Blue Iris. Most of the settings in the camera's web interface aren't even something Blue Iris can touch.
