DS-2CD2532F-IS Not working / Not accessible HELP

Brought 2 x DS-2CD2532F-IS details below.

Firmware - V5.3.0_150513
Build - 08/2015

Everything was working fine however when I downloaded and applied the most recent update V5.3.0_150814 from here I haven't been able to access them since. I am new to Hikvision so was unaware of all the issues these cameras can give. I have tried there downgrade tool however I can't access them as the port number isn't set.

I would be very grateful for some guidance to get these back up and running

Hi Shaun, I did the same as you and also could not connect to the camera via browser or NVR. I downloaded the 5.2.5 downgrader, but used the Hikvision Batch Upgrade Tool to downgrade it back to 5.2.5. This worked fine, but I was left with a Chinese menu. I then used the MTD Hack detailed in this forum to change back to English. Took me half a day to get it right, but I am now back to how the camera originally was. Mine was shipped from China - you didn't say where yours was bought?
