At work I have installed a DS-2DF8223I-AEL which works very well during the day.
Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co. Ltd.
However once dark and the night-vision switches on the camera seems to crash then points directly at the floor. This camera is powered by a 24vac psu so i presume power is not the issue as a fuse is never blown.
Smart-tracking is enabled and i wonder if this has anything to do with the problem as i am sure the camera was fine until smart tracking was enabled. If i try to call a preset or use the ptz controls to move the camera the displayed time stops and the camera freezes for a couple of mins but never moves from looking straight down.
I will be able to disable smart-tracking next week but hopefully looking for a heads up but i attend site.

I can access the Nvr remotely. However is there a way to access the camera remotely? I have enabled virtual host but this directs me to a internal ip address i.e 192.168.0.12:65001.
Its a shame the smart-tracking cannot be enabled/disabled remotely through the Nvr.
