HI, I've installed the Hikvision DS-2DF8225IX-AEL PTZ at home. Bought it new, but off of eBay, so there's no support.
I've having issues with smart tracking which loses track of a target after a few second and then goes back to its preset position. When tracking it seems to struggle to focus in on the target and then lock onto them if they move fast or go behind a tree for a second. I've tried targets that are a few metres away and ones around 20m away and have the same results.
I've followed everything in the manual and tried both basic smart tracking and intrusion detection options. I have also updated the firmware to v.5.5.8.
Any experts seen anything similar of could offer any advice? Thanks in advance.
