I have had DS-7616NI-I2 for a few years now, I see there is DS-7616NXI-I2/4S which Hikvision markets it as "Accusense NVR". I am not sure what that means really since my new Accusense G2 cameras work fine with older I2. Is there any benefit with upgrade to this new one?

This is a Acusense NVR. You can attach 4 non acusense cameras and the NVR will apply the built in AI to the non Acusense cameras for smart recognition. If you already have all Acusense cameras there no point in buying a Acusense NVR
