ds-7616nxi-i2/16p/2 latest firmware update fail?

So I have a ds-7616nxi-i2/16p/2 like the title states. I'm wondering if the latest firmware is only for the ds-7616nxi-i2/16p/2(c) every time i try to download and update the firmware i'm getting failed. yes i'm extracting the zip and using the dav file. I've tried updating all ways that i know, through web, ivms, and by flash drive and they all fail. My reason for attempting to update is because i have a dual lens panorama colorvu camera and I just get failed to play video when connecting through nvr, but i get video feed through ivms and phone app when connecting directly to the camera. the IP camera shows online in the NVR's camera menu, but doesnt show video feed. so i believe it maybe that the firmware of NVR needs to be updated. I'm also having trouble with milestone xprotect essential connecting to the nvr through onvif, not sure if it's firmware related or not

There are multiple hardware variants of the -NXI NVRs.

Firmwares I tried:

From where? These don't indicate the hardware variant they are valid for.
