Dual framerate recording

I would like a specific camera to continuously record at 2fps, then when motion triggered, to switch to 15fps, and after revert back to 2 fps.

Is this possible?

The only way that I can think of to do this is to maybe use substreams. So set you cam up to have the main stream at 15fps, then set your substream to say 5fps. I say 5fps as I read here that going any lower might cause issues to BI.

You’ll then need to setup 2 cams, one with the main stream and the other with the substream. Set the substream to continuous record, then setup motion detection but get that to trigger the other cam to record. Might have to play around with the settings but logically it’s sounds doable.

The frame rate is specified in the camera not in BI.
