Hi, I have an Sricam AP003 cam works fine with wireless, I tried to it up to email (gmail) on motion detection, i get this
Test ... Failed
Can not connect to the server

My router is a D-Link Dir-862L, I tried Port forwarding but not sure if I did it right? all new to me, please help.. thx

Welcome to the forum. You dont need to port forward for email alerts...change the smtp port to 465, and put in an address for the receiver. Post a screenshot of your network settings.

What is the drop down, next to the SMTP server field have in it?

its a tab on the left, basic network settings

in dns server2 enter 8.8.8.8 that is googles dns...you have your routers ipaddress in there now...

ok then put the router ip address back...have you changed the smtp port to 465?

My setup also requires the use of the routers address for DNS. I personally think your problem is related to GMails's authentication system, it's needs to be correct.
