I just received a email from Empire with new cams using the Sony Exmor chipset.

Sorry for being a little off-topic, I'm trying to contact EmpireSecurityCameras by email for the last two weeks... They won't answer my emails.

Once they sent me download link for the firmware for the ESC-IPC-1 but the link it's not working anymore...and I have a pair of cameras
with old firmware... Nothing in their site works: the chat, the newsfeed...

This is firmware they sent me:

• Software Version
• 2.211.0000.0.R, build : 2013-07-26

• WEB Version
• 3.2.1.128519

Maybe someone has the firmware and could share with me...

I heard they were bought and are ran by different people now, I think they belong to this forum but I don't know their screen name

Yeah, I heard the same thing. Last time I had any dealings with them was when one of my ir rings burned out and they sent me a replacement which was about a year ago. At that time I called and actually dealt with a live person.
