Enabling recording on sd cards...

Got 128gb sd cards in two Ipc-hdw5231r-ze cameras and when I check on cam's web page, it shows 0/122gb etc., how to enable continuous recording in camera? I was able to format but it stays the same.
Does in camera motion detection need to be enabled for it to record?

You also need to set up the record tab, if you set it to auto as below, then you need to setup a schedule as well.
Tip: On any tab, click the ? in the upper right corner, and it will give some guidance. It's not perfect, but will give you a place to start.

Awesome! I was thinking to read the user manual but thought I could probably get som tips and tricks along with answer for main question. Hence, posting here. No worries. Will report my findings.
