Email notification on alerts used to work, but now I receive this on testing it: "Error with user authentication;Server says: 534-5.7.14 <Sign in - Google Accounts"

The last line of this error message page gives a bad URL to learn more about this particular message: "Use IMAP to check Gmail on other email clients - Gmail Help c66sm25075911pfc.56 - gsmtp".

Trying that results in Gmail help saying, "Sorry, this page can't be found".

Any ideas? I can still log into Gmail with other devices so it is not a password problem.

Thanks,

Dan

G-mail must be set up to work with what they call "less secure apps" and e-mail clients (Thunderbird, Outlook) or a NVR and IP cam e-mail apps can have issues until you follow this guide ==>> here.

Thanks, Tony. I thought I had gone through that yesterday, but when I went through it just now it worked like it should.
