However, motion detection might not work due to the ONVIF protocol and compatibility between manufacturers.

Yes, but it may not record motion events on the NVR. If you have it set in the camera it will record to the SD card but may or may not record to the NVR.

I don't think anyone here had purchased one yet. My concern is the low light performance. Not worth the cost of ptz if I can accomplish the same with 2 fixed turret cams.

I went ahead and ordered one along with some fixed ones. The area will have IR fixed coverage for night and the PTZ/zoom was mainly to be able to monitor a couple of areas specifically during daylight.

And of course UPS tracking shows "delayed"....

"A UPS facility outage has delayed delivery. We’re adjusting plans to deliver your package as quickly as possible. / Delivery will be rescheduled." - so much for 3day select.

Got the camera today. I'll try and post some footage Friday or Saturday. So far I'm very pleased with the daytime image and PTZ function. I just have it sitting on a desk right now. But in a room with only ambient IR lighting coming from the other Fixed dome IR cameras, the room is perfectly clear in grey scale just like the HikVision DS-2CD2132-I show (current sources of the IR ambient light). I'll try and post Day, night (no ambient IR from other cameras) and night with ambient IR). Can't wait to get this thing installed.

Its seems like the camera has an ir cut filter if its picking up the IR light...the spec sheet doesnt mention it...
