Greetings. I'm a new forum participant. I have no direct experience with security cameras or recording software.
I am investigating a couple of security camera deployments:
1) Cameras providing outside surveillance at our horse ranch. The barns and out-buildings, at the main gate, plus covering areas where we have experienced attacks on poultry and pets by wildlife. Maybe 8 cameras total.
2) Cameras which monitor an unmanned club house facilities. 2 outside cameras, 4 inside cameras in 3 different buildings.
Seems like BlueIris is a likely choice for camera control and storing recordings. Could use advice on suitable system configurations.
