foscam web interface/app: perfect
iSpy: loses connection every so often

Using VLC, FFMPEG has more dark colors and blocky lines.
Camera: FI9800P
Settings:

Hope someone can help.
It might have been my CPU, gave it 3x as much CPU power now.

The foscam web interface and apps use different protocols than the rtsp stream to ispy...
try the rtsp stream to vlc..if its drops then its the camera...
if you are on wifi - that would explain it..
avoid foscam, its crap.

It usually only drops after a while.

Only thing sold here. What's bad about them actually?
Its not the only thing sold there....shipping companies have been around for may years...
everything from the hardware, images, to firmware and reliability.

Shipping companies + import taxes, ... no thx, other cameras in this price range (up to €100) were only like one hikvision and some other brands.
The images when it works is decent for the price I paid (60€).
This camera is only a "test" and if everything works out I might get some better ones.

i understand..its ok if you want to buy garbage...there are local hikvision and dahua sellers where you live, but even with tax (which is seldom an issue if you know what you are doing) its cheaper than local.

do some reading on your own...why is price your only concern...whats the point of a camera that doesnt work as you can see with your great foscam...good luck to you

I did.
Price, because it is a test.
The foscam works though only some difficulty trying to fix it in iSpy.

I have bought Foscam in the past. Won’t do that again. Maybe check out Amcrest if you are focused on price.
