Initially I was afraid of what was going to happen if the dog ever caught up to the fox, but after watching for awhile you can tell the fox isn't really trying to escape. He pauses several times to make sure the dog doesn't get too far behind.
About two minutes after the above clip they passed through the vacant lot again. I have no idea how long they played chase.
I don't know whether it is this particular fox or not, but our neighbor says their toy poodle and one of the neighborhood foxes are fast friends and play together regularly.
