    Hi all,

    Problem
I can't get group calling to work with video at the same time. They seem to wok mutually exclusively. I can either have both indoor units ring at the same time without video, OR only the main indoor unit ring with video.
Obviously I'd like (expect) both units to ring with video when someone presses a VTO button.
When I try to call with group calling enabled, both VTH's ring but then I get an 'abnormal network termination' error.

    My Setup
    I have 2x VTO2111D's (two gates) and inside the house 2x VTH5221DW's (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs).

I have the VTO's setup as separate VTO numbers 6901 and 6902.
I have the VTH's setup as master and extension (9901 and 9901-1).

I have number of extensions set at 2, and group calling (currently) off.

    Firmware versions:

Is there more to the setup that I'm missing, or is this a firmware flaw in the VTO/VTH's?

    Thanks all,
    Bish

    Hi,

I do have 2 VTOs but only 1 VTH, so my setup is not exactly the same.

What I would do if I was you: reset everything, and start with something that is documented (like my setup): 2*VTO + 1*VTH (see project settings at http://icousa.net/manuales/accesos/dahua/VideoIntercomTraining.pdf as example).

    That should work.

Then I would add the second VTH as extension to the master VTH (without adding any VTO to that VTH).

    Report back.

    Good luck!

Thanks CC. Yep, cams and one monitor setup works fine. And adding the second monitor to the first also works fine, in that the second monitor gets its settings from the first. They can both manually view the video from the two external video doorbells. But once I set the VTO to 'group calling' it fails with the 'abnormal network termination' error when I ring the doorbell. Essentially the second VTH is now just a manual monitor. Can't seem to get a response from Dahua help - does anyone know of a help contact that actually responds? thanks!

Just to avoid having a faulty VTH screen: what happens if you start over with the second VTH as master. Is that working? Then add the first one back.

In any case: I would advice you to contact your seller for dahua support.

    Good luck!
