guest mode without camera control

I have a 5 Megapixel PTZ outdoor camera (Foscam compatible) that I use with Blue Iris software. I would like to be able to share the camera views with family and friends but without them being able to use any of the controls. I created a guest user with password in the camera settings but see no way to do what I want to do in either the camera software or Blue Iris. Is this goal possible?

In Blue Iris create a group that only contains that camera. Grant non-administrative access to that group in Blue Iris. Set the membership to those that you want to only view the camera.
