Getting comfortable
I've been lurking a while. Reading and learning.
I've set up a Blue Iris server using some recommendations here. It's am I5 3570 tower with 8 gigs of RAM.
Currently have Windows 10 on an SSD and a 1Tb drive for storage. I'll have a 4Tb WD Purple drive in place in a couple of weeks. I'll add another 4Tb WD Purple drive later. I'm running 3 x 4mp IPCT cameras and 3 Dahua cameras. I plan to have 7 cameras total.
I still have lots of tweaking to do and I need to finish setting up my OpenVPN server on my router, but it's a work in progress.
