Hello all,
I've been spending some of my leisure time on IP cameras for a few months now - and have got a pretty reasonable home CCTV system implemented so far. But it's ready for the next stage, upping scale and performance.
I came across this forum and liked it - friendly and helpful dialogue, with some good techy stuff. It plays to my engineering / IT background.
As well as benefitting from others' experiences, I'm intending to be able to contribute as well, give something back.
I'm an active member of the QNAP NAS forums, especially Surveillance Station, but getting a bit jaded with the apparent lack of interest / involvement by QNAP support staff, and also the sometimes aggressive and rude behaviour that pops up quite often. Quite inhibiting for good, open discussion.
