Hello everyone! I came across this awesome community in my research of IP cam options out there in the world. I will be honest, it is extremely overwhelming trying to find the best setup for my situation, and at the right price point.

• Budget: ~$500-$600
• Needs:
  • 4 cams on the exterior of my house, room to expand to 6-8 cams later.
  • High enough resolution to recognize a face. I'm guessing 2MP - 3MP would be okay if that can save money. I don't need to be able to count the freckles on their face
    
  • Recording with mobile connectivity
  • Prefer an NVR over BI on my PC.
• Cams I have been actively browsing
  • Hikvision
  • Dahua
  • (I would prefer dome cams to look sleeker on my house, but not opposed to bullets)

If anyone has any suggestions that would be amazing! Otherwise, I will continue to search the forum for resources that hopefully lead to a purchasing decision.
