Hi Guys,
Since my old hikvision NVR fried, I bought a new Brazilian version Hikvision CS-NVR 2604p. Looks great, has lots of button on the front which I am not use to with the usual Hikvision models. Still I thought I try it since it only cost $60 inc shipping from ebay. When I connected it, booted and changed the language to english, tried to add a Hikvision camera. The one thing that was missing is Hikvision protocol, instead there was CS protocol. I'll bet it's still hikvision but modded to make it region/product specific. Ok so I noticed that there was still the Onvif and tried that but nothing came up.
I found no logo version of Hikvision that looked just like the NVR 2604p it is model Hikvision DT604-H1 and some adverts also state its same as DS-7604NI-K1/4p.
Perhaps without too much hassle the firmware from DS-7604NI-K1/4p can be dropped onto the 2604p.
Any suggestions, solutions?
