Was given a Hikvision camera by a coworker, only problem is that someone snipped the cable off. Was told it was the siding guys. Finally got around to diagnosing it, and compared with another camera I have to get the correct pinout for repair. Hopefully someone out there will find this useful (refer to pictures).

Its a standard cat-5 network cable (other than the red and black, which are the power for non-POE connections). Just match up the colors to the appropriate pins and crimp on a new male end, then buy a RJ45 coupler to extend the cable.

And on older Hikvision cameras, Purple and Grey (4 and 5) are transposed.
Not that it makes any different with it not being a Gigabit interface.
