What is the model of Hikvision wall mount and for what size of camera? All I've seen have junction boxes with external lugs top and bottom. I think this mount looks neater.
Also this youtube Hikvision video shows a wall mount for a speed dome not widely available separately, though I have just managed to buy one on eBay. Again I think this looks neater.
Has anybody used a custom junction box, particularly to improve the appearance?
Has anybody made or sourced a stem adaptor to convert a Hikvision screw fitting at the camera side to fit a Hikvision (or Dahua) grooved wall mount?
Edit: Junction boxes, Hikvision sell wall mounts for their dome cameras with and without the appropriate square or oblong junction box eg DS-1272ZJ-110B with junction box, without DS-1272ZJ-110. Want to buy a separate junction, no chance, they only come with a mount. I haven't found anybody on the web selling anything other than round Hikvision junction boxes.
So I bought on eBay, Hammond 1590Q 120mm x 120mm x 35mm die-cast aluminium boxes which I will spray paint white.
