Hikvision DS-2CD2042WD-I OSD setting errors

Hoping someone may be able to help. I am having problems with a recently installed DS-2CD2042WD-I camera. Everything works great on the camera except for one thing. I can not turn-off the date/time stamp on the image. When I go to the OSD Settings page and try to make any change, then press "Save" I get a box that that says "Parameter error" on the screen and the changes do not save. I save changes on other pages without error.

I've used the DS-2CD2032WD-I cameras before without encountering this problem. Have any ideas of how I can fix this so I can remove the date/time stamp on the image? The camera is running Firmware Version: 5.4.5 build 170124.

make sure you do it on the nvr web page. as some times when you change things on the camera web page,
it conflicts with the settings of the nvr.
e.g turn off osd of camera 1 at the camera webpage.log into the nvr web page look under camera 1 osd and see if that is unchecked too.
same goes for a few settings some times they conflict each other.
