Hikvision DS-2CD2442FWD-IW No sound on NVR

Hello

I've configured this cam in ivms, and it works perfectly WITH sound.
But the recordings on the Hikvision NVR don't have any sound ?
I've tried changing the codec, but no luck ?

Any suggestions?

Are the Video settings for the camera in the NVR web GUI set for 'Video&Audio' as opposed to 'Video'?

Yes. And other camera's have sound so ...

You also have to activate the sound recording inside Event - Schedule - Advanced Settings - Record Audio Yes or No

Also tried a few other codecs AND a firmware update ... still no audio.

Live view is fine

It's Storage | Schedule settings | Advanced | Record audio tickbox.
But you've probably already go that set.
