I keep looking at this cam and keep wanting to hit the buy button. The 16mm lens would be perfect for viewing my garage doors from the house. Is there any advantage to this cam versus the ds-2cd2032-l other than the 16mm lens? [h=1][/h]

Since this is still just a 3MP Hik. I have decided it isn't worth the extra $50 over the 2032. I instead bought a few different lenses and will give them a shot. As far as IR at 80 meters, I will just use the IR flood lamps I already have and attach them to the garage. Now if any of you can explain why this is worth $50 more than the 2032 other than the 80 meter IR, I might again reconsider it.

SD card...time saved not messing with lenses that may or may not fit...if the ir is on your garage facing the camera it might blind the camera...also since its a new cam they may have made some other improvements but its hard to know until someone testes its..if you look at the lux levels they are lower on these cameras than on the 2032...(the 2mp is better than the 3mp as well)

Thanks! Maybe NetworkCameraCritic will have this one on his list for testing.
