I'm considering the HIKVision DS-2CD3345-I 4MP turrent camera from eBay.

It's listed as h.265 / h.264 / MPEG for video.

Can some one confirm the video compression standard used by this camera.

I just want to make sure it works with my Blue Iris setup.

Thank you!

H.265 Hik and H.264 Hik can both be used.

People have used H.264 Hik with Blue Iris no problem AFAIK.

Please come back and let us know how it works, as this is a cheap Chinese market only camera which I think plenty of people would like to know how it gets on with BI.

I am using a synology NAS to record the streams and it seems it doesn't support h265. So can anyone confirm this camera (or any of the h265 hikvision) also capable of providing h264?

Yes, the h.264 is an option and seems to work OK on my NVRs, ONVIF Device Manager etc.
