Would this NVR work well with five 3M cams?
Does it require US versions of cameras? I have 5 Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I cameras (four with V5.2.0 build 140721, one V5.2.5 build 141201) all are originally Chinese editions flashed to English (intl) firmware. Will this be a problem?

Hey @lacibaci, I've never tested a Chinese version on the NVR but I imagine it will work fine with the English firmware installed. There is a good chance that you won't be able to display all the cameras at 3 megapixel on an attached monitor connected to the NVR. However, I believe running a few at 3MP and a few at 2MP (1080p) will work fine.

Looking at the specs for DS-7608NI-SE/P, there are apparently versions that have only 4 POE ports. Does this one have 4 or 8?

"Can be connected to network cameras with up to 6 Mp resolution"

From .pdf:

• Up to 5 Megapixels Resolution Recording
??

usb 2.0 ?? Compared to usb 3.0, the backup time is about 40 times longer.

Also, this item is "no longer carried" by many online stores (i.e., B&H Photo).

The NVRs recording resolution was increased from 5MP to 6MP with a firmware update.

Yes, USB 2.0 takes longer than USB 3.0 to transfer.

This is the version before they came out with the E2 model so a lot of people do not carry it anymore.
