I want to be able to control the on screen display on a Hikvision DVR DS-7204HQI-K1 via IP commands (e.g. going from multi camera view to a single camera, nothing fancy). I've tried various approaches and can't seem to figure it out. I know it can be done on most Hikvision NVRs using Hikvision-CGI but when I try anything using the "wps-cgi" endpoint I get a 401 Unauthorized error even as an admin user. The option to enable CGI is not visible on the Integration Protocol screen of the web interface. I guess it is actually there though since it is a 401 error and not a 404?
Anyone know how I can enable the CGI API on a Hikvision DVR or alternatively is there a way to control the on screen display using ISAPI or ONVIF or anything on these models?
If not, is there another Hikvision or other brand DVR that supports coax input and IP control of the on screen display?
