I felt like I should make a post about the new EasyIP 3.0 Range

Im interested in the 8mp version but will probably be waiting a long time to see these arrive in the uk. Also not sure on the 7608 4knvr to power it. I'm currently using the 7608 e2 version and it's pretty loud with the fan.

I got a 7608 e2 I just got my new nvr DS-7616NI-I2 / 16P the FAN ARE SO Amazing there sound so much better and make less noise (my mother told me) but the funny thing is it has two fan's

also the 7608 nvr can't support them it was laggy as hell but the new DS-7616NI-I2 / 16P has fixed that up I can view all my 1 x 4k DS-2CD2385FWD-I with easy and also 3x 4mp 1x5mp 3x1080p all playing nicely

on my old nvr 7608 e2 can't play back on the 4k cam it skipped parts and every thing new nvr I can play max and all ch play very fast no time skipping or anything( if you get what I mean )

They have released a new version for 4K and up to 12mp cameras. From what I've read though they haven't improved the fans on them.

yeah I know why I went DS-7616NI-I2 two fan's noise is very soft not so loud as the 7608 e2 which again we are very happy the noise is less it sounded like a vacuum cleaner ;( I was so annoyed with it I'm going to add more poe cam's soon

mine is 4-ch @ 4K so that is where you need the most power viewing it what's the point of having great cams but when you need to watch the footage the power is not there

I ordered this model 2CD2H25FWD-IZS and I should have it sometime this Thursday according to DHL. It is a vara-focal turret and I will post up some pictures after I get it installed.

I just received new ds-2cd2055fwd-i, so not yet tested fully, but already noticed that it doesn't have Face Detection in smart function, however on official Hik site it was promised even on seller's page on ebay.
Does anyone already tested it and can confirm that it present on that camera?

face detection is a gimmic...wont work anyway..

well, interesting, it's not available as soon as you choose h.265+, with the h.265 it's here.

That is common...dahua has the same issue as the smart codec uses more processing power..
