I have a HiWatch NVR 104 that seems to be having trouble connecting to the Hikvisions IP cameras since resetting.
It's been installed and was working fine, however none of the passwords etc had been set up and I didn't back up all of the settings. I had to reset everything in order to set up passwords for remote viewing. After resetting the NVR doesn't seem able to find the cameras.
The other snag is when the cameras first arrived I didn't set up passwords on them or go through the initial set up as I thought it was all plug and play. Since the firmware has updated, I can't seem to now do any of the initial set. I have now emailed Hikvision to reset the passwords which I suspect will be a lot more complicated.
Does anyone have any ideas on why the NVR doesn't want to find the cameras when previously it found the straight away.
