Hello All, I have set up a hikvision PCNVR and the location has a cellular modem for internet. Latest version of IVMS. When storage server is running about 250 MB/Hr of data is being uploaded according to cellular usage statistics. Camera and PCNVR are both on the local subnet -
Camera is 192.168.1.64:8000
PCNVR is 192.168.1.65:8080
Is the PC somehow receiving record data through public interface?
Does anyone know how to configure so this does not happen? Intuitively, nothing should be getting uploaded since both devices are on the local subnet, but apparently someting beyond my understanding is creating this traffic. The PCNVR has a one TB internal for storage. I am open to any other options-software-workarounds, etc.,
