So we have a few PTX Speed Domes installed, and occasionally the cameras will turn off when it gets really cold. I have checked for a manual heater/fan control, as there was with WatchDogs PTZ Cameras, and Hikvision says its controlled automatically. the coldest it will get is ONLY 30degrees F, so not that cold in comparisons to others.

Any knowledge if there is perhaps an onboard menu system for hikvision ptz speed domes?

Thanks for any responses,
Peter M.

Had this exact same problem. To fix it our supplier gave us60 watt PoE injectors to run to the speed domes and zero issues after that. We had 5 x cameras running off of a Ubiquiti US-8-150W (802.3af/at PoE+). Must have been getting some voltage drop when all five fired up the heaters/fans (at approx 39f/4c).
